Hi Mistrom! Derek here - So glad you enjoyed the episode. Your question is a great one, and makes me wonder - as the sage of time, what does the sacrifice of 1000 (or so) years mean for Zelda? I think I land somewhere hopeful in my interpretation - the sacrifice is real and huge, but there is that small chance that one’s humanity can be restored (Zelda returned to her human form), even when the change we hope and sacrifice for is a long way away.

Hi y’all! Awesome first episode, I loved the depth of discussion, but I had a question for y’all. At one point its mentioned that Tears of the Kingdom has this strong interrogation of like, how much of yourself is sacrificed in order to instigate even a little bit of change, which is a theme that I also found resonant in my time playing. But I wanted to know if y’all found the message lessened by Zelda regaining her human form, therein meaning she lost basically nothing to attain her change?
